Pokémon GO Events Around the World

(Official Announcement)

A variety of events will be happening around the world in celebration of Pokémon GO's one year anniversary.

Pokémon GO Fest Chicago — Participate with trainers across the globe!

As we covered in a previous article, the Pokémon GO Fest Chicago event will be held on July 22nd. It has been announced that trainers at the event will be able to participate in a global challenge with others across the world to unlock worldwide rewards!

There will be three challenge windows:
✧ 11:00AM - 11:30AM CDT
✧ 12:00PM - 12:30PM CDT
✧ 3:00PM - 3:30PM CDT

During these windows, trainers at the event and worldwide should work together to catch as many Pokémon as they can. For those at the Pokémon GO Fest Chicago event, capturing different types of Pokémon within the park will net certain bonuses. If trainers around the globe capture enough Pokémon, a special event will happen in Chicago (between 6:00PM - 7:00PM) that, once completed, will unlock a bonus for everyone in the world.
