I can't see any benefits to creating our own new forum that really would shine over becoming Marriland Forums again. We would get, what, a name of our own? But a name of our own doesn't mean anything when it lasts for like a year at most, like Boss said. There is no way that starting fresh would be any good for activity, as evident when we moved and became Azurilland. It'd be like being free to do whatever you want for a few months of your life only to get permanently crippled for the rest of your life.

Clearly taking on Marriland's extremely generous offer is the best way to go. With Marriland's role as a sort of overseer, we'll be able to take his expertise in this sort of thing from hosting the original forums and improve on what we have even more. The only issue is Marriland having to deal with any forum issues that require his involvement in case something goes wrong, but if he's given the green light for it to happen, then I don't see any reason not to go for his offer. I'm extremely grateful that Marriland has decided to step in and given us a different option because not only do we now have an opportunity to continue the community, but we also have another chance at growth again, even if it's just by a little.

Thank you so much for your help, both Marriland and Azurilland staff!

✪ Lost Memory - sakuzyo: +3 Easy spot here for me, but I may be biased but w/e
✪ In the Night - The Weeknd: -1 Toss up between this and El Dorado, but I had to pick one sorry Weeknd.
✪ Graffiti - CHVRCHES: -3 It's only here because I had to pick one.
✪ El Dorado - Two Steps from Hell: 0 imo there are better songs from TSFH that I would have preferred but this isn't bad.
✪ Plume - Kubbi: +1 Originally I didn't really like this song, but a second listen made me enjoy it more.

It's been a while since I've painted something now hasn't it? I haven't been really able to find any inspiration or motivation lately, especially for poses. And then when I try to do some cool poses, I get annoyed at myself and then it's a vicious cycle. So I decided to go with a pretty simple pose this time! Nothing too fancy, just a bust portrait. I wanted to practice shading metal and shiny objects, so why not something where the whole outfit is metallic? Or at least I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be metallic. Regardless, here's my portrait of Rei from Evangelion.

Now I didn't waste the entire month and a half doing nothing. I put more time into sketching anatomy, since like I said earlier I was having trouble thinking of poses and stuff. So I just sketched some stuff to try and practice a bit. I'll post some of my sketch pages but not all, since a lot of them are actually kinda ****ty and don't have anything really worth sharing. I also lost my eraser sometime through this and was too lazy to grab another one so yeah, uh, unfortunate. These are very, VERY rough sketches.

Now hopefully I don't slack off again!

Day 'N' Night (nightmare) by Kid Cudi: 8/10. Great song. I haven't heard this in so long but I really like it.

Space Oddity by David Bowie: 3.5/10. It's not something I'm super into. I didn't really like it.

Could It Be by Black Milk: 7/10 Beat was pretty cool but I didn't feel like I'd go back to listen to it again.

Be There by Krewella: 9.5/10. I love this song. It's the kind of music I'm into and it's something I'd go back to listen to.

Ocean Blue by WLRD (feat. Laura Brehm): 9.5/10. This is an interesting one. I love DnB but the thing that really shines here is Laura Brehm's vocals, and this song puts the spotlight on that rather than the beat imo, which I quite enjoy.

Finesse - Cardi B featuring Bruno Mars: 7/10. I like this song, but just it. It's really catchy and full of energy.

Monody - TheFatRat feat. Laura Brehm: 9.5/10. I absolutely love this song. It's my favorite song from TheFatRat, alongside the amazing voice of Laura Brehm. The change into vocals is a bit odd, but hey it didn't affect my enjoyment of the song and that's what I'm looking at here.

Super Affection - Kuribayashi Minami: 1.5/10. What the **** was this. I'll give it that it was energetic but that's it.

Say Amen (Saturday Night) - Panic! At the Disco: 8.5/10. I like this! This is the type of music I enjoy.

Lemon Glow - Beach House: 7/10. This was cool but I didn't get too into it. It was definitely a unique song that I liked though.

Tears Dry on Their Own - Amy Winehouse: 3/10. I didn't really enjoy this one. It didn't leave any sort of impression on me.

Hey Ya! - The Blanks: 4/10. Same with the above.

Fire Flies - Gorillaz: 8/10. Not bad, I found quite some enjoyment from it.

Feint - Vagrant ft. Veela: 9.5/10. Aw man, I ****ing love this song. Feint + Veela's vocals together on any song is like ear sex, at least to me. While it's not perfect, it's something I'm always going back to listen quite often.

Jump - Madonna: 6/10. Pretty ok, not much else to say.

Imagine - John Lennon: 6/10. Lovely song but it's I find it rather repetitive. Not saying that's necessarily a bad thing! But I didn't get into it.
    Aqualung - Jethro Tull: 4/10. It's... ok I guess.
Lifed Up (1985) - Passion Pit: 9/10. Wow I actually really like this song. It's just really nice to listen to and it's something I'd probably listen to again.
You Say Run - Yuki Hayashi: 7.5/10. Despite liking the anime and liking this song on osu, I enjoy this song but I'm not super into it.
Telephone - Lady Gaga feat. Beyonce: 8.5/10. Old song I remember back when I was a kid. Nostalgia might play a part in it, but I do enjoy this song quite a bit.

You're Beautiful - James Blunt: 6.5/10. An old classic but it's not particularly amazing.

King of Wishful Thinking - Go West: 5/10. Eh, pretty average and not my kind of music.

Last Hope - Paramore: 7/10. This was pretty cool, but I wouldn't listen to it again

Green Light - Lorde: 6/10. Not bad, I liked it but not enough to give it any higher.

Ruler of Everything - Tally Hall: 6/10. Pretty unique song. It stands out quite a bit and wasn't bad.

I'm pretty sure I just gave all 5 songs basically the same comments.

Luv Letter - DJ Okawari: 10/10. Mmmmm yes, this is my ****. Classic favorite of mine and it holds significant meaning to me since I first heard it almost 10 years ago. This is always the first song on my music playlist that I have and I'm still not tired of it.

All Too Well - Taylor Swift: 7.5/10. Lovely song, a bit too slow for my tastes but yeah not bad. I enjoy Swift's song, but I'm not a diehard fan, but regardless, pretty gud song.

Rental - Brockhamton: 5/10. There's some parts I liked and some I didn't but for the most part it wasn't terrible.

Everything Black - Unlike Pluto: 9.9/10. Was also my pick. I just love this song so much, and everything comes together so well. The voice complements so well with the bass, the lyrics are catchy, and it's just overall a great song. But I gotta rate it less than Luv Letter because I prefer that even just by a little, feelsbadman.

Believe - Cher: 7/10. Not bad. I enjoyed it, but it's not exactly a song that would hook me instantly.

This round makes me both happy and sad.
