Yeah, and it will be called Marriland! The name is unique and unheard of, but I think it could be a good one. I just wish we had some sort of reference for how a forum named Marriland would work...

I can reach 20,000 in the next 2 seconds.

JK I got to 10,000 in my first 2 years, then spent that next 8 years getting 5,000 more. Noice. 67% of my posts in 20% of my time here.

Not sure about our Worlds spoiler policy, so I'll tag it.

I am so happy with C9's performance in the quarterfinals last night. I'm so glad I got to see it live. Licorice played so well (Barring that little tiny 0/3 mishap) and so did Sneaky. There was a distinct moment where I realize C9 had a chance to win worlds, their most realistic chance thus far, and I knew I needed to CONTROL MYSELF.

I went to sleep after game 1 of FNC vs EDG and I am really surprised Fnatic was able to jump back after that absolutely terrible game 1.

posted a message on Azurilland's Sunset, and the Dawn of New Opportunities
This news brought up a lot of feelings in me that I never gave an honest thought to. That being said, it's a definite call to action, and we all need to be prepared to participate in the weeks to come.

We should definitely go with a name that is recognizable, or at least able to be pronounced, outside of Pokemon. Something about Shaymin Village and Stratos Lookout sticks out for me, definitely favoring those. However, something in me is telling me that explicitly naming a Pokemon in our new name would be strange. We don't want people thinking we're making a fan club for one Pokemon in particular. We might also want to think about how our new name could be abbreviated. We don't want Wailord's Trusty Forum or Felicity Utopia. Coming to a consensus on this may be difficult, haha.

I don't really play League anymore, but once again Riot serves a nice song and video for Worlds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fB8TyLTD7EE

We should call it "Show up and ignore what other people are saying so you can talk about what you want to talk about"

9 AM classes are rude as hell.

posted a message on please do something about SOTM and MAC
I was the only submission for SotM August, and conveniently the day before I won my computer crapped out on me, so I was totally disconnected from all of this discussion.

Something to add to this is the that sometimes the themes are totally uninspiring. For SotM this year, here are the themes:

    Music
    Dance
    Spring
    Royalty
    Retro
    City
    Sky
    Set Render

Most of these lack something that make me actually want to participate. It might just be a personal thing, I don't know. Obviously I'm alone with my entry for Set Render, but I actually very much enjoyed it. It removed one aspect that always felt laborious to me, which was finding the right render for the theme. When the theme is the render, it made me want to participate again.

I think we shouldn't be afraid to repeat themes. Protagonists was a fantastic theme. I think it would be worthwhile to stick to themes that promote peoples' favorite things. What do I do for Music/Dance that relates to something I care about? I don't want to have to find some generic anime girl and make a sig around her.

I will also say that having people vote that sometimes don't know anything about graphics can be so upsetting. People vote for the idea more than the execution, so sometimes things get super questionable. I'm not going to continue down this particular line of thought, because it is really quite a rude thing to say. I'm still salty my Aurelion Sol signature lost because people didn't understand the concept of a space dragon. (◕‿◕✿)

I think having a really broad theme to sort of guide people is fun, I think having a set render is fun, and I think having a place to submit art is fun! An issue that I've had is that when I posted my gallery or updates to it, people would only comment on skype/discord with a sentence and that's it. They stopped posting in my thread entirely. I know I have more than 1 person looking at it, they've told me themselves. Just a little post promotes activity and lets the creator know people appreciate something, y'know? This is definitely an effort we should all put in.

Just a bunch of thoughts, lol.

TL;DR: Themes are either too specific or just not inspiring (might just be a personal thing). I love Set Render. The voters a lot of the time aren't people making graphics, leading to upsetting votes/no votes. People need to comment more on each other's art.
