I'm craving for some fried chicken and potato chips right now, but I'm on a diet. :(

The Master Plan by Oasis - 8/10 I've always enjoyed Oasis ever since listening to Wonderwall. <3
Man of War by Radiohead - 6/10 It was a decent song but it was a little to slow for my liking.
True Friends by Bring Me The Horizon - 8/10 True friends stab you in the front but why is there no happy song? I've heard this song before and I enjoyed it. :P
What About Us by P!nk - 7/10 I liked it and I've definitely heard this before on the radio!
Arabesque No. 1 by Claude Debussy - 5/10 Instrumental pieces are always nice but I find it difficult to put a score on this. Especially since the rankings are relative and compared to other songs in this round.

As some of you might know, Adopt A Newbie was created many years ago by AzulKitten and Phantom4722 to help new users learn the general rules and niche areas of the forums such as Competitive Battling, Breeding, Roleplaying and etc. And it's really awesome that we've been able to achieve version 5 since that shows how many people have benefited from this program since Adopt A Newbie's inception. I'm sure lots of you have kindled new friendships with your respective mentors and newbies and that's always really heartening!
However, the forum demographics have changed over the years which means that the average user is older now and what we've realized is that new users often do not require such a mentor system anymore. And this is rather evident seeing as versions 4/5 do not enjoy the same level of patronage as versions 1/2/3. As such, we have decided to retire this program and replace it with a forum directory for new users instead.
You can view the new resource here: For New Users: What Azurilland Has to Offer
So that's all for now! I hope you'll find the new resource useful and as always, my inbox is always open if any of you want to have a chat, have any specific questions/concerns or require personalized mentoring. So feel free to send me a personal message and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Badges are a way of displaying achievements on the forums such as post counts, forum age, being a club leader, taking part in forum events and many others. There is a long list of criteria and badges which users can qualify for, and you can find it here:
I hope this helps and let us know if you have any questions!

Welcome to the forums, Danny!
It's always great to have new users and it's very nice to meet you! It sounds like you've been a long time Pokemon fan since Pokemon Crystal was released more than 10 years ago. It's also really cool that you got to meet Devin at OIC, that must've been an awesome experience. Speaking of competitive battling, do check out the Competitive Battling forum if you'd like to learn more about it.
Anyway, I hope you have a pleasant stay on the forums and feel free to contact me or another staff member if you have any question or require assistance on the forums! :)

I'm not a fan of horror unfortunately so I don't have much experience in that regard. 8D
Anyway, how is everyone doing today? I've been sick but I'm feeling better after some rest.

I probably have an unpopular view but longer competitive games are fun to me as it means that we can see how teams go about macro plays like trading/securing objectives when both teams are even. It's a part of the game that is rarely seen so it's somewhat refreshing to me. I think there is a lot of safety in bot lane atm but it'll be different now since relic shield meta is over.
I really like Anivia's, Xayah's and Aurelion Sol's voice overs. Anivia because she has a really sinister tone to her voice when she says "I will not spare you, Lissandra". Xayah because she is really edgy and reminds me of how I used to play the game. Aurelion Sol due to his insane self-confidence which would be arrogant in normal circumstance but fits him due to his sheer size.

Welcome to TSI, Carson! :D
Speaking of school subjects, I liked Physics the most though I wasn't very good at it. On the other hand, Math was easy even though I didn't like it since it had little real life application. I'm indifferent towards Chemistry since it's mainly rote learning from what I remember, but the experiments were really fun!

I used to collect Pokemon and MTG cards though I never really got into playing the game much.
I've played plenty of Duel Master back when it was popular though (almost 10 years ago), and I've played in some amateur tournaments back when I had OP decks and I've found mixed success. :P
