Are you a superstitious person? If you are, what kind of superstitions do you believe in? If not, what is your opinion on superstitions?
Superstition is the main theme in my art assignment, this kind of thing really fascinates me. It's interesting to see how natural human nature and tendencies can lead to unproven, fairly irrational beliefs to fill up gaps in what we can't explain. While I don't think many are superstitious nowadays, it would be fun to see who is!
I'm not superstitious myself although, i am a little stitious, but I could see where some people come from with superstitions. I think it's more like people trying to create excuses in their heads for things that happen randomly that freak them out.
I also think that certain things that people get superstitious about may never be explained, or will take a while to figure out.
I guess believing in some form of karma is superstition. I try my best not to kill or hurt bugs. Not just for good karma, but I wouldn't want a bug hurting me, so let's find some middle ground and not start a war.
Otherwise, I'd like to think I'm very rational with my approach to life.

I believed in a looot of things, but some I unconsciously believe in due to upbringing and culture. Examples of Chinese culture superstitions are not sleeping on a bed directly facing a door, 4 is unlucky and red is lucky. My mother has always told me to never put banana trees in a business. I don't actually believe in them, but there's another layer of unconsciousness that does because it's been taught to me my whole life.
I like the idea of karma as well, and I also believe in paranormal stuff.
