Black Vulture - Halestorm | 6.0 | Just. So much energy, well done lyrics and good instrumental, but I don't like this type of music. It just doesn't go with me, lol.
Plume - Kubbi | 8.5 | Really neat and pretty instrumental song. I liked the variations though there was a point where it got a little too repetitive.
You Can Count On Me - Trophy Eyes | 8.0 | Neat music, lyrics, but the chorus kind of put me off.
Asturias (transcribed for guitar) - Isaac Albenez | 8.0 | Good song piece. Definitely enjoyed it, despite of the length of the piece.
Next To Me by Imagine Dragons | 9.0 | This song moved me with the energy and feeling and soft yet heartfelt melody. There were only bits near the end that sounded strange (the bits with sound effects?) Not something I'd search for again, but something I found worthy anyway.
Black Vultures - Halestorm (6/10) It's certainly a song in the genre
Plume - Kubbi (5/10) Sounds fine and all but I didn't really get the direction the song was trying to go
You Can Count On Me - Trophy Eyes (4/10) This felt to me like an angsty song but it went a bit all over the place in terms of style
Asturias - Isaac Albeniz (10/10) I first listened to this like 7 years ago and I still haven't found a classical guitar performance like this. The embodiment of turn of the 20th century Spanish music imo
Next To Me - Imagine Dragons (5.5/10) I don't think I like Imagine Dragons all that much on slower songs, but I like the composition here
Black Vulture - Halestorm: 8/10 - I actually quite enjoyed it. Rock was an old favorite genre of mind before I explored more of my interests in different music so maybe it's just the genre that I enjoyed.
Plume - Kubbi 7.5/10 - I liked how this sounded but there wasn't too much variation throughout the song I felt. To me, it was like the same beat or a similar one thoughout the whole thing with just more subtle parts vs more electronic parts. Regardless I still enjoyed it though.
You Can Count On Me - Trophy Eyes: 6/10 - Pretty alright, but it didn't stand out as much to me even though Black Vulture was similar and I liked that song.
Asturias (transcribed for guitar) - Isaac Albenez: 5/10 - Not terrible, but it didn't interest me too much. I was pretty indifferent to it throughout the whole song.
Next To Me by Imagine Dragons: 5/10 - Imagine Dragons isn't bad by any means but this one just doesn't stand out to me. Especially when you compare it to other works they've made.
Pokemon Eterna Forest Jazz Cover - insaneintherainmusic: 10/10 I freaking love jazz music. Omg. The fact it is also Pokemon related. Yesss <3
WOW- Kwame: 7.5.10 This song amused me.
7 Years Old - Lukas Grahm: 3/10 I liked this song once upon a time. Now I just can't take it seriously anymore.
Let's Get It Started - Black Eyed Peas: 7/10 Loved this song back when I was like very small or something. Still enjoyable but not going to go out of my way to listen.
Stronger - Britney Spears: 10/10 Britney is queen.
Pokemon Eterna Forest Jazz Cover - insaneintherainmusic: 2/10 I don't like jazz or the Eterna theme.
WOW - Kwame: 8/10 I love this.
7 Years Old -Lukas Graham: 1/10 I really don't like this song. It's like that "Stressed Out" song by Twenty One Pilots: it's just 'the good old days' but with a different name. Not to mention, absolutely no music performed in this feels original. I thought this was a Twenty One Pilots song until this face off.
Let’s Get It Started - Black Eyed Peas: 4/10 The radio edit ruins absolutely everything that was good about this song. So really, only the confidence in releasing a song with "******" in the title and the use of the word to break the stigma around it. All ruined by radio edit.
Stronger - Britney Spears: 3/10 This was mostly white noise until the chorus, and then it felt like it should go on one of the music shows and win runner-up. Britney only has a few songs I like, the rest just feel forgettable, like this one.

Pokemon Eterna Forest Jazz Cover by insaneintherainmusic: 10/10 One of the best jazz covers I've ever heard and I love jazz. This is a very energizing cover and the improvisation was perfect for the cover. Overall I just liked everything about this song.
WOW by Kwame: 2.5/10 I just found this boring and wanted it to end like a minute into the song. It wasn't terrible, just isn't something I liked.
7 Years Old by Lukas Graham: 7/10 It's not my favorite but I don't change the radio when it comes on tbh. I like how the song builds up a bit before calming down again.
Let's Get It Started by Black Eyed Peas: 4/10 The first half had a nice beat, but I found it really repetitive. I didn't like the second half at all.
Stronger by Britney Spears: 3.5/10 Basically what Brett said, except I don't know if I like any of her other songs because I don't listen to her music. The chorus was the best part of the song yet still felt...lacking.
Pokemon Eterna Forest Jazz Cover by insaneintherainmusic: 3.5/10 - WHO PUT VIDEO GAME MUSIC IN MY CHRISTIAN FACEOFF 0/10 While I like jazz as a genre, Eterna Forest never really did anything for me. It was well made and all but I was just bored otherwise.
WOW by Kwame: 3/10 - As a rap guy, this was quite disappointing. The beat was dull and amateur, the lyrics were forgettable, the added effects were irritating. Next
7 Years Old by Lukas Graham: 7/10 - This was a sweet song, and I kinda liked it to my surprise. I don't like how the chorus changes constantly, but overall one of my more liked songs this round.
Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas: 9.5/10 - What a damn classic. It's such a fun and enjoyable track for me, and always tends to lift my spirits.
Stonger by Britney Spears: 5.5/10 - I tend to find Britney Spears songs annoying, and this was no exception. At least it was a little catchy.
Pokemon Eterna Forest Jazz Cover - insaneintherainmusic 9/10. I like jazz, and the Eterna theme is perfect for a jazz cover. As would most D/P/Pt themes, since the whole soundtrack has a jazzy theme. This artist has a great musicality, and mixes the theme up at times, which is nice. Well done.
Wow-Kwame: 3/10. First off, "rough" and "bunch" don't rhyme. Rhyming is kind of integral to rapping, so failing to do that is pretty bad. As for the rap itself, I'm not a huge fan of the genre, and this isn't changing my opinion at all. It's boring, and the lyrics are extremely generic.
Also, why was there no language warning? Not that it bothers me, I was just surprised a rap with so many ****s and ****s would be allowed.
7 Years-Lucas Graham: 2/10. This theme has been done many times before, and has been done far far better than by Lucas Graham. Five for Fighting's 100 years is a great example of how to this type of song right, and 7 Years is a great example of how to do it completely wrong. Lucas sounds pretentious, snotty, and bratty (the MC shouting "Lucas Graham" to a screaming crowd doesn't help that either).
Let's Get it Started-The Black Eyed Peas: 9/10. This is easily the best "Party Rock" song out there. It's got great bass, Will.i.am and Fergie are great together, and it's just down right fun. The only thing I don't like is the very beginning, since it's a shameless rip off "Fallin" by Alicia Keys. They didn't even try to hide it.
Stronger-Britney Spears: 6/10. Not Britney's best work, but it's still pretty good. Has nice harmonies, and showcases her voice well.
Oh, and the Backstreet Boys called. They want their chorus back.
Pokemon Eterna Forest Jazz Cover by insaneintherainmusic: 8.5/10 - Hm. Lots going on in this and I like jazz, and the switch-up near the end is fun too.
WOW by Kwame: 6/10 - Uh what the heck did I just listen to?
7 Years by Lukas Graham: 7/10 - As one of our local pop geeks, I heard this song quite a bit in 2016. I never hated it, and I get the backlash, but if you want this done BEST, well, there's Castle on the Hill by Ed Sheeran.
Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas: 7/10 - Of course I remember this song way back in the day when it was a fad, but the Black Eyed Peas have never been a group for me to like legit take seriously. xD
Stronger by Britney Spears: 10/10 - Hey look, one of her songs that I can unashamedly admit that I actually really like! Y'know, before she went cuckoo. That aside, I do really enjoy this one, she has real power and strength during.
Three of these songs I knew right off the bat, so that made it easy for me xD
Pokemon Eterna Forest Jazz Cover by insaneintherainmusic: 8/10 Ok so I feel like this is just jazz and really not that much video game music, so I'll grade it as an actual song. And as an actual song, wow it was great. It was pretty good at the start then it picked up a minute in and WOW it was great from there on out. Enjoyed listening to this a lot
WOW by Kwame: 7/10 This is a nice vibe. I don't like the chorus, but I think the beat in this song is great and works well with the performer. That mixed with the pretty good vocal performance made me enjoy the non chorus parts of this song a lot, but as said chorus ruins my enjoyment a lot. That being said everything counted pretty good pop rap.
7 Years by Lukas Graham: 4/10 I don't believe this is that bad as everyone else does, apparently. The beginning of the song is fine but as you get to the later verses the vocal performance goes to ****. In addition to that, uninspired theme as many others have said.
Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas: 5/10 Holy crap this is so much longer than I thought it was. The first part of the song is pretty good, but not really too special, and we've all heard it before. The second half was... weird? I didn't feel like it fit at all with the first part and maybe would have been better as a standalone track. Overall, liked the first part, not really the second part, so overall eh.
Stronger by Britney Spears: 5/10 Not a Britney fan. Don't like her voice or her performances usually and this track isn't an exception. Just super generic pop, nothing really stands out here.
The Devil Went Down to Georgia - Charles Daniels Band: 8/10 Brings back lovely memories of my guitar hero days.
Hey There Delilah - Plain White T's: 8/10 Such a sweet song.
Popcorn Funk - Monstaz: 8/10 I had fun listening to this lol.
Black Crow King - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds: 7/10 Was okay. Wasn't a huge fan of it. Was a nice listen though.
Bad At Love - Halsey: 9.5/10 This song speaks to me so much.
