I don't have Hulu, though the few times I've used it, it seem to have a lot more programming than Netflix. But, I have Netflix, and it is pretty nice. So I guess I'm torn. It's tough competition for sure.
Netflix and it's not even close. I have subscriptions for both, and Hulu still plays ads on certain shows even with a paid subscription, and you have to pay more to get rid of those ads. Also Netflix originals are far superior to Hulu originals.
The only problem with Netflix is that there are certain shows that just don't show up there, and seemingly have no reason behind it. The same thing happens with Hulu though, so it isn't too big of a deal.
I've never actually used Hulu before, so I don't know if I can really choose one lol. I'm thinking about getting the Spotify + Hulu student package though so maybe we'll see. I've been pretty satisfied with Netflix, for the most part. except when they took off Avatar: The Last Airbender >:(

You should enjoy the little detours to the fullest. Because that's where you'll find the things more important than what you want.
Well they give access to different things to watch so people just pay for what they wanna watch. But people have already brought up issues with both: Hulu still shows ads with a paid subscription (have to pay even more to get rid of them - I don't really know how these prices stack up to Netflix, though), and Netflix's selection feels really arbitrary and things are constantly getting removed.
A big plus to Netflix though is Netflix originals. They do a really good job with those and I find myself really enjoying a lot of them. I also personally only use Netflix. So that's what I went with in the poll
I'm unfamiliar with Hulu and its content, but I do have access to Netflix.
It has an interesting variety of shows. I didn't watch it much before, but I watch more at night now. Seems okay to me~ Though I can't really argue this properly since I have no experience with Hulu haha =P

I dropped basic TV about two years ago, and having BOTH Netflix and Hulu helps so much, and made my least favorite bill to pay that much cheaper. I need both, since Netflix has great original Content, but Hulu has my favorite TV show of all time, South Park.
Hmm, I currently have Netflix and Amazon Prime. Currently I'm paying for my Prime account which I'm fine with because it's like $6 per month lol. I used to be paying for Hulu but I decided to stop because it wasn't worth the price and I needed to save for everything else. I love the variety that Netflix has (ughhh love supernatural), but sometimes it can be unpredictable and remove your favorites (BTVS, HIMYM), so it isn't too stable. Amazon Prime doesn't have that much of a variety but you can still buy stuff to stream online usually for a cheaper price which is nice if you're looking for something specific, especially if you want to watch some of your old favorite childhood shows because nostalgia. Also you could just buy DVD's on Amazon so ye.
Netflix, since that's what I have. I have tried Hulu and like it, but Netflix just offers more of what I like.
This wasn't on the list, but another big streaming service I use is Crunchyroll since I do enjoy to watch anime. You can't beat the price with the large selection they have. Sure they don't have everything, but they are continuing to grow.
