Its been chaos... absolute chaos... Anarchy. Terrorism. Riots... What on Earth happened here...?
The kingdom of Aselarith has never seen anything of the likes of this before. The king was murdered brutally,an insurgence has spread through the nation. Riots are regularly breaking out on the streets, leading to many injured and dead. Towns and cities in the more urban areas have been hit hard, whilst the poor village folks are awaiting their turn, terrified as they go about their daily lives. For safety, many people in the Kingdom have formed factions. There are 8 in total; 3 fighting for good, 3 fighting for evil, and 2 neutral factions. The ones fighting for good are aiming to eliminate the forces of evil, to restore peace in the kingdom once and for all. They are the Usof Faction, the Umbria Faction, and the Gollo Faction. The factions fighting for evil do the exact opposite, as you can probably tell. They relish in chaos and destruction, and will achieve their twisted goals by any means necessary. These are the Gunnia, Murkuda and Lumbaia Factions. Finally we have the neutral factions, who are just really looking to survive this whole ordeal, and will do whatever they can to defend their land and eachother. These two are the Kayn and Marston Factions. Not everyone has chosen to join a Faction though. There are many that would prefer to go it alone, or maybe they’re just oblivious to the whole situation.
That is where we officially start our story, and hopefully a group of heros, or villains, will come along and settle things, once and for all.
Hello there, and welcome A Divided Kingdom, a Kingdom-type roleplay. Here you can use any sort of OC, whether it be Pokémon, human, Gijinka, fandom, whatever. There are many roles to fill: you could be a Faction leader, a Faction member, a member of royalty (other than the King, ‘cause he’s dead), a citizen, or a simple wanderer, or maybe another role that I may have forgotten. The choice is yours! But of course, we need rules and applications first. Let me get them out of the way.
4) Please, keep OOC (Out Of Character) text to a minimum, but if you are going to use it, put it in double brackets.
5) If you are going to romance a character or plan on a major plot twist, do tell all that are participating. If you do plan on a plot twist, make sure everyone agrees and let us discuss.
6) No one-liner text. I require a minimum typing of three relevant sentences.
7) No ****posting!
8) No Mary-Sues or Marty/Gary Stus.
9) If you are inactive for more than 2 weeks, you’ll be kicked from the rp. One kick is one warning. Three and you’re banned. But if you are going to be inactive for a long time, do tell me beforehand. We can work something out.
10) Contact me about character applications in my PMs.
11) Put ‘Anteaters’, ‘Skunks’ or ‘Llamas’ in your application in some sort of sentence. Just so I know that you read the rules. Now have fun you lot.
These are the rules. Follow them. Next, a list of accepted applicants, kicked members, and banned members.
Now finally, character applications. Here is the format I could like you to use:
Edit: (Note: Please post your character applications in my PMs. I may not notice immediately, so be patient. I will post in advance if I am going to be away for a long time.)
Faction (If any):
You can describe your character, or attach an image, or both. Here is mine, for miss Miya Jeane.
Name: Miya Jeane
Species: Feral Neko/Cat Girl
Appearance: Short, dirtied, red-brown hair, bright blue eyes, pale, scarred skin, white feline features (Ears, Tail, kitty hind legs), wears a torn and tattered dress. Miya stands at 3’9”.
Personality/main traits: Miya is a very bouncy, bubbly and lively Neko girl. She loves the outdoors and loves to wander and explore. She spends a lot of time just exploring her small grotto, finding new places to nap, sleep, and of course eat. She is a skilled hunter, and will not hesitate to defend herself if needed. However, she can be rather oblivious and a lot of things go over her head.
Backstory: Miya does not remember too much of her early life, but it was likely that she was abandoned at birth, and thus forced to live out in the wild. She was raised by a pack of wolves and was taught many things. However, it wasn’t long until she was forced to go and fend for herself. Her years before the age of ten were rough, but she managed to get through them. Miya found that she had to fight other creatures a lot for food and territory, and soon learned to stand her ground, warning others away if she felt that they were going to try to take her things away from her. To this day, she still live out in the wild, foraging and hunting, defending and living.
Hi there, as Rule 3 in the Rules of the Roleplaying Corner states, you will need to manage character applications in a Campfire thread or via PM. Please specify one of the following in your rules and make a Campfire thread for this roleplay if you choose the former option. Thanks.
You have twenty-four hours from this post to allow you to make the necessary changes before I will have to lock this.
Within the Mora Woods, not too deep but a fair ways in, wandered a young feral Neko girl, dreased in tattered clothing. She wandered aimlessly, cold and scared but otherwise fairly alright, looking for a stable food source. That was the reason why she'd wandered away from her home, I suppose you could call it, in the dead centre of the forest in the first place, simply put it had all been taken - the girl was struggling. Not to mention, all the water sources close to her had been trained somehow, and were now unsafe right drink from. Miya didn't know what was going on, but she didn't like it, not in the slightest. She knew that this was the result if some 'big thing', as she put it, going on the in the main Kingdom itself, but she hadn't a clue what exactly was going on; quite frankly she didn't want So, with a disheartened sigh, Miya trudged onward, hoping to find some sort of nutrition source.
