Right from the entrance, head up the steps and then go far west, until you see an item sitting down by a ledge. It's the wonderful TM35 (Flamethrower), a powerful and accurate Fire-type attack that even has a chance of inflicting burn!
Alright, now that you've gotten that, head back to the house thing you saw on the way over there and head north instead. Fight the Youngster that's sporting a team of Caterpie L61, Pineco L61 (it has Sturdy and can blow up, so watch out!), a Spinarak L61, Masquerain L61, and lastly a Scolipede L61.
On the eastern side of the area is a Hyper Potion as well as a Lass further north that has a Horsea L63, a Ponyta L63, and a Sunkern L63. Now go back to where the Youngster was.
Head west of where the Youngster was and you'll find a Razor Fang, a held item that may cause the opponent to flinch if you strike before them with an attack that hits them directly. It can also be used to evolve Gligar into Gliscor if held and you level it up at night.
Now go fight the Lass just to the north. She has a Burmy L63, a Tangela L63, and a Sawsbuck L63. Now go further north, up towards the thick grass, and fight another Youngster. This one uses a Yanma L63, a Ledyba L63, and a Ninjask L63. Across the path of thick grass to the east is a Rare Candy.
Head further north and you'll see a congregation of people up the steps. As you approach them, they'll run over and talk about Landorus a lot, running around you and stuff before running off. The girl tells you that you should bring both Tornadus and Thundurus here, though, so if you don't have them in your party now (remember, this requires trading with your version's opposite!), you'll have to come back here when you have them. Otherwise, press A and then Landorus will fly down from the sky, sitting there until you talk to him (giving you an opportunity to save).
|Landorus Lv. 70|
Thankfully, unlike his predecessors, Landorus doesn't fly around Unova; no, you battle him right then and there. Being level 70, he's a very tough Pokemon and makes for a valuable addition to your team. Landorus shares the same typing as Gligar and Gliscor, being Flying/Ground-type. That means your Electric-type and Ground-type attacks are both useless against him!
Be wary, because Landorus can use Fissure to instantly KO any of your non-Flying-type (or Levitating) Pokemon, although it's not perfect accuracy by any means. Pokemon with Levitate work great against him, such as Eelektross (don't use Electric-type attacks, obviously), but Flying-type Pokemon are still a fair bet as they are resistant to all of Landorus' attacks except for Rock Slide, which will likely be a KO. Remember, you will have both Tornadus and Thundurus on your team, so they'll be immune to all but one of his attacks.
Weaken him the best you can, then chuck Ultra Balls or Dusk Balls at him repeatedly until you catch him. If you've burned through about 20 or so and still haven't had any luck, or if he is mercilessly beating you down and you are spending too much time healing, just reset and try again.
After some luck, you'll be able to catch the powerful Flying/Ground-type, adding one more legendary Pokemon to your collection!
Landorus makes a good addition to your team if you're in need of a powerful Pokemon that can fly. It has great stats, can learn Fly, Earthquake, Rock Slide, and several other very valuable attacks, so for in-game purposes, having him on your team may work nicely. Also, even though Landorus has a gender, it is always male and is in the No Eggs group like other legendary Pokemon.
Now that you've caught Landorus, it would be a great time for you to fly back to Black City or White Forest, switch your party around (chances are you don't want to keep both on your team!), heal up, and then make your way back to Route 14 so you can proceed to Undella Town.
However, before doing so, be sure to use Surf to cross the water just to the east of where you fought Landorus to find TM92 (Trick Room) hiding back there. Trick Room, when used, reverses the turn order for 5 turns so slower Pokemon act first and faster Pokemon act last. Interesting!
