Hugh will be fending off the Plasma Grunts near the entrance, leaving you free to go on ahead. There's nothing for you to do in the northern room, so instead, head south and enter the room down there. As soon as you enter, you'll have to fight two Plasma Grunts in a Double Battle! The first one has a Trubbish L46, a Garbodor L46, and a Golbat L46, while second has a Scraggy L46, a Whirlipede L46, and a Scrafty L46.
Take the teleporter down after beating them and you'll catch the attention of a Team Plasma Grunt. It seems like he's more sympathetic towards the old Team Plasma's cause, though, so he tells you what's going on down here.
Plasma Frigate (Black 2)
Black 2 Frigate Directions
Because I'm actually writing the walkthrough using my White 2 version, it's a lot harder for me to write anything that's different in Black 2. It shouldn't be too difficult to figure out: just make sure you pick up the Plasma Card from one of the Grunts and then follow the password input stuff below to help you get through.
Passwords to the Plasma Frigate
I'm jumping ahead here, but that's because a lot of people have problems with entering the password needed for the Plasma Frigate. You have to input a password after getting the Plasma Card. It'll always be one of the following:
- Reshiram (case insensitive)
- Zekrom (case insensitive)
The above passwords work in the INTERNATIONAL versions of the games, so if you bought it in your local language in your country, you should be just fine.
In the JAPANESE version of the game, if you happened to have imported it, you'll have to do something slightly different. The number passwords are still possible, but you'll need to input Reshiram and Zekrom's Japanese names. If the numbers do not work, you'll have to input the Japanese name of Reshiram or Zekrom. The BEST WAY TO DO THIS is to select the input method to the right of the "1/?" input on the very bottom of the screen. That should give you an English keyboard that resembles an actual computer keyboard. Now, see the larger keys to the side (the Shift key)? Click that and you'll toggle what's called the Katakana input mode, which is what you'll NEED to do. Then, proceed to type out and test out each of the following codes (one of them should work for you):
Make sure you type it EXACTLY like that! It should look like one of the following: レシラム or ゼクロム. If it doesn't look like those, you might have forgotten to use the Shift key.
That's just for the Japanese version of the game, though; the international versions should be 2202, 7707, 9909, Reshiram, or Zekrom.
Plasma Frigate (Both Versions)
His Pokemon have only gained one level since your last encounter, so the strategy to beat him should remain mostly the same, except this time you don't have Hugh helping you out.
After beating him, head on over to the teleporter to the right. Down there, you'll see what appears to be some kind of control room. Who's in that control room? It's none other than Colress! It turns out he's been working for Team Plasma all this time, working as the frontman for it.
Heal your Pokemon up, save your game, and talk to Colress once you're ready to take on Team Plasma Colress!

His Magnezone can be a pain thanks to Sturdy, plus it and the Magneton like to paralyze you with Thunder Wave.
After beating him, he'll say a whole bunch of stuff and then basically leave you free to go. Leave the room and go back to where you saw Kyurem, except head west instead. The Plasma Grunt there that was blocking the teleporter will move out of the way and let you go through that teleporter now. Make sure your Pokemon are healed up before continuing, though.
Up in that room, you'll find... Ghetsis! He'll say a whole bunch of stuff about Kyurem and Unova. After some dialogue, though, one of the Shadow Triad appears. Hugh shows up after Ghetsis leaves, and then the Shadow Triad guy shows Hugh his Purrloin — which is now a fully evolved Liepard. After even more discussion, the Shadow Triad guy will take you on!
After beating him, the two other members of the Shadow Triad show up. You'll have to defeat all of them before you can continue. Start by taking on the one to the right.
Take him down, and then there's just one more member of the trinity to take on.
After beating them all, they'll teleport away, leaving Hugh with the Purrloi- well, the Liepard he's been looking for all this time. Head on south and you'll reach the Giant Chasm once again.
