Right near the start of the route, still on the beach, a Socialite will fight you. She's got a Lopunny L39 and gives a ton of money after you beat her, too, so having your Amulet Coin is recommended. Just to the east of her is a Big Pearl.

Up the nearby steps to the south, you'll find a Gentleman, who also has a lot of cash. He uses a Delcatty L39. After beating him, head on south to a bridge and cross it, where you'll find a Battle Girl ready to fight you. She uses a Gurdurr L39.

Head on west and you'll see some waterfalls up there. You'll need to wait until you get the HM for Waterfall before you'll be able to climb up there. But right nearby, just to the south, is a Ace Trainer that challenges you to a Triple Battle! She has a Lilligant L39 (middle), Gligar L39 (left), and a Basculin L39 (right), so watch out!

Go further south until you see some stairs leading up the cliff. Go on and climb up.

In the area with all of the thick grass, there's a Fisherman for you to fight, and he's got a Staryu L38 and a Buizel L38. There's a Max Potion sitting over on the other side of the thick grass. If you use Surf to cross the water there, you'll find a Backpacker. He'll use a Skorupi L38 and a Pinsir L38. Keep going past him and use Surf to reach a Heart Scale. Neat. This is also where the waterfalls from earlier lead, although you'll still need to have Waterfall in order to scale the taller waterfalls holding you back.

Go back to the start of the cliff, where the stairs are, but head west instead to face off against an Ace Trainer. He'll challenge you to a Rotation Battle, and he uses a Zebstrika L39, Skarmory L39, and Tangela L39.

Keep going past him and you'll find the gate to the Black City or White Forest (depending on your version). However, it's blocked by a whole ton of weirdos, so you won't be able to go through until after you've beaten the game. Oh well!

At this point, if you haven't already checked out the optional Undella Bay, you may want to now. Otherwise, head back to Undella Town and then go north onto Route 13!
