Two new challenges have begun in Pokémon Shuffle and Pokémon Shuffle Mobile, alongside an Escalation Battle, a new safari, and a competitive stage.
New main stages have also appeared.
Pikachu (Smiling) — Commemorative Event
(Phanpy and Cubone are recommended)
A special Smiling Pikachu has arrived for a limited time, until February 28th! This special Electric-type has appeared to celebrate the second anniversary of the game.
Cobalion — Special Challenge
(Fighting- and Fire-types are recommended)
Cobalion, a Legendary Pokémon that can usually only be found in the expert stages, has appeared for a limited time. It will depart on February 21st.
Once captured, Cobalion may drop a Raise Max Level or a Cobalion Skill Booster upon defeat.
Volcanion — Escalation Battle
(Electric- and Grass-type Pokémon are recommended)
A new Escalation Battle has appeared, this time featuring the Legendary Pokémon Volcanion! Each time you win, the level of the stage increases along with your chances of capturing this Water-type. It will depart on February 28th.
You will also receive special prizes — such as Mega Speedup, Skill Swapper, Raise Max Level, and more! — as you climb higher.
(Ice-type Pokémon are recommended)
A new Pokémon Safari has opened up until February 28th; and this is a special one, indeed! You will discover a different Pokémon awaits you each time you enter the safari — because of this, remember that you may not use the Optimize feature. Can you capture them all?
Mega Gardevoir — Competitive Stage
(Virizion and Bellossom are recommended)
Mega Gardevoir has graced the stage! This competitive stage will last until February 20th and will be in the limited-move format. Try to get as many points as you can in 18 turns by making a move within four seconds of your last.
Your score determines the prize(s) you receive. Refer to the table down below for prizes based on region. Note that if you already have the Gardevoirite, you will receive a Level Up instead.
